Parents are always welcome to join their children for lunch at school. We do ask that you notify your child’s teacher at the beginning of the day, or call the kitchen at 733-6911, if you are going to join your child for lunch. This enables the kitchen to be sure of having enough meals for everyone. In addition, please use the front entrance of the school and sign in and out using the Visitor’s log.

Lunch may be purchased daily, or money can be paid in advance and put on the child’s lunch account. When the balance on the account runs low, the kitchen staff will notify your student by stamping the child’s hand and sending home a written notice. Please make your checks payable to “Sawtooth Elementary School” and be sure to include your child’s name and grade.

Some students may qualify fro free or reduced meals. Please contact the office for the free/reduced price chart and any further information. Students qualifying for the free/reduced meal plans will be treated with respect and kept in confidence.
