Sawtooth Elementary Student’s Artwork Recognized at the State Level

Sawtooth Elementary student, Kylee Thiel entered her drawing of a penguin wearing a scarf and ear muffs into the Idaho State Department of Education’s Holiday Card Contest this fall. The Idaho State Department of Education announced Tuesday, December 13 that Thiel’s card was selected and will be featured on the Idaho State Department of Education’s holiday greeting card. She will also receive a certificate and copies of the greeting card to share with her friends and family members.
“I’m always so impressed with the effort and creativity of students who submit artwork for the Holiday Card Contest,” State Superintendent Sherri Ybarra said in a press release. “I would like to personally congratulate Kylee for her wonderful artwork, and for all of the amazing artwork that was submitted by students across the state.”
