Puttin' on the Ritz! This Friday's spirit day will be Oscar worthy!

It's National Library Week and our librarian has a fun Book Tasting event planned. Students will sample 5-6 books in a 30-minute time frame and rate those books as well as answer questions about those books. When the 5 minute timer rings they will move to a new table to sample another new book in a different genre. So fun!

March Madness is over - and we're not talking about basketball! Sixth Grade teacher, Mrs. Hall, challenged her math class to see how many ALEKs topics they could complete during March. Shout out to Lincoln, (185 topics), Terrence (143 topics), Region (135 ), Jade (95 ), Adryan (75 ), Kristian (73 ), Aleena (61), Landen (58), Jazmin (58), and Evelyn (55). Wow!
(For reference, we expect each student to complete 40 topics per quarter.)

Welcome Back! We hope you had a restful break!

Spring Break is already almost here! 🌸🌞 School will be out from March 20th to 28th! Enjoy some well-deserved time off, relax, recharge, and stay safe. 🌴✌️ #SpringBreak #RelaxAndRecharge

Beware, students, the dragon looks hungry! Mrs. Harrison's latest work of art in her classroom.

Mrs. Harrison (or rather Queen Harrison) held her annual knighting ceremony in class today.

We're seeing stars! Mrs. Casares''s science classes dissected sea stars today. Amazing!

Holy guacamole! Can you believe we only have 10 school days left of Quarter 3? As our students say, 'It's time to lock in."
Sixth Grader, Jaycee, is definitely locked in!

We love our What's Up Wednesdays. Today's secret theme for staff was Dress Like a Student. After getting lots of weird looks from the students, they quickly figured out the theme! And, to make it even better, we enlisted the help of some of our 6th grade parents.

More chess opportunities!
